Handing over the Bow

In January 2026 Jenny will be taking the reigns

"I am delighted to have been invited to become the ‘custodian’ of London Fiddle School. I hope that I will be able to continue Pete’s legacy in a way that will be fun and engaging - and not too far removed from the format that so many of you know and love. Pete has said that he will be happy to help out and to come along and act a as special guest tutor so he isn’t disappearing altogether!"

London Fiddle School runs regular courses on a wide range of aspects and styles of fiddle playing.

Face to face classes are available at the iconic Cecil Sharp House in  Regents Park Road and in the Northamptonshire market town of Towcester.

Live Zoom classes are also available for those who are unable to travel or who prefer the ease of tuition in their own home.

Over the years the London Fiddle school has hosted many legendary fiddle players as guest tutors, including Iain Fraser and Aidan O’Rourke (Scottish), John Dipper, Laurel Swift and Tom Moore (English), John Herrmann (Old time) Kathryn Tickell, Paul Burgess and the iconic Clare fiddle player, Lucy Farr.
